Boat Trip Information

Discover the Maine you can only see from the water, Watch the working lobster boats, see the large Maine windjammers under sail, look for sea birds (including eagles), and porpoises playing in the bay. The sights and sounds of Penobscot Bay will delight and relax you. Children (and adults) are invited to steer the boat when conditions permit it. We've received photos of second generation kids at the wheel of the "Betselma" which goes to show you that once you've come out with us, you'll likely be back again and again.

One hour excursions between Camden and Rockport Harbors typically show the local area lighthouses (Curtis Island Light and Indian Island Lighthouse) and magnificent coastal estates. Two hour cruises highlight the area islands, a variety of lighthouses, an assortment of seabirds, seals basking on rocky ledges and in many instances a porpoise or two. This trip also provides oceanside views of the famed "summer cottages" of Islesboro. Built around the turn ofthe century, these lavish oceanfront estates were, and many still are, the summer retreats for some of America's most celebrated families.
